 how white-villages.com works

• any enquiries for your property coming to white-villages.com will be referred to you for agreement and confirmation; this can happen via your choice of Skype, e-mail, FaceBook or text message - but an electronic means must be used, to provide an audit trail and avoid potential problems 
• short term rentals: 
• • once you confirm that the property is available then a booking confirmatiom will be sent to the enquirer requesting transfer of a non-refundable 10% of the total cost of the rental, to be made using PayPal;  this money will be transferred to you in full 
  • 5 weeks prior to the let another confirmation will be sent asking for a further PayPal transfer of the full outstanding amount, to be paid within 3 working days of the e-mail being sent;  this money will be transferred to you minus any charges due to white-villages.com 
  • if a let is agreed during the 5 weeks prior to the time of the let then a request will be sent for the full amount due, to be paid within 3 working days;  this money will be transferred to you minus any charges due to white-villages.com 
  • in the event of non-payment of the remaining 90% the let will be re-advertised;  you retain the initial 10% and you owe me a coffee.
• long term rentals:
• • once you agree that the property is available for the duration of the requested let, then a confirmation will be sent requesting either: 
  • for rentals up to 2 months - the full amount of the rental;  this money will be transferred to you minus any charges due to white-villages.com 
  • for rentals in excess of 2 months - 2 months rental;  this money will be transferred to you minus any charges due to white-villages.com; one months rental will be held (by you) as a refundable deposit 
  • for ongoing long term rentals - monthly rental requests will be issued one week prior to the monthly anniversary of the start of the rental;    this money will be transferred to you minus any charges due to white-villages.com 
  • for longer term rentals you may wish to consider having a written agreement in place (examples available in both spanish and english), but this will be a matter between you and the occupant;  if appropriate white-villages.com can arrange for signature of this document and a property check for damage / missing items prior to the end of the let - subject to the charges detailed below. 
• property 'names': 
• • properties listed on the site are anonymous in order to avoid 'confusion' on the part of prospective clients who may use certain information to find the same property on other sites
  • to avoid this situation, listed properties will be listed as casa 99, where the '99' is your street number;  where there are two properties with the same street number, the second listing will show with a 'B' suffix (eg casa 99B).
